A Berry Good Smoothy!

Tonight I had to do my grocery shopping on an empty stomach. While I did make a couple id purchases, mostly I was good. But I arrived home with very low blood sugar so I needed something fast!

This protein berry smoothy hit the spot and now I am able to post my photo of the day with happy tastebuds and a very satisfied belly! I’m sharing a rough recipe for those who are now hungry (or thirsty) after seeing and reading this post.

Berry Protein Smoothy
(2 servings)

1/2 cup Silken Tofu
1 pint of ice cubes
1 cup blueberries
3 oz. Blackberries
1/2 cup soy milk
honey to taste

Blend and enjoy!

*These are approximate serving sizes. I was so hungry that I just grabbed and dumped as soon as I washed the fruit!
