A Secret Gift book reading

Author and Chair of the Journalism Department, Ted Gup, shared accounts from his book, A Secret Gift, with the Emerson College Community.

As described on the book’s website (http://www.asecretgiftbook.com):

An inspiring account of America at its worst-and Americans at their best-woven from the stories of Depression-era families who were helped by gifts from the author’s generous and secretive grandfather.”

I found this to be an exceptional read for this holiday season that, in many ways, runs parallel to the time that is captured in its pages!
