Reunion ROI: Small Shops Can Reap Big Rewards

Emerson College’s Alumni Relations team is excited to share some of the tools and tactics we’ve successfully employed to expand Emerson’s Alumni Weekend program and to grow their alumni participation in the last decade. Learn how a staff of three collaborated successfully with key volunteers and Institutional Advancement to add wide-ranging professional development courses, integrate a fund-raising auction (with proceeds benefiting a scholarship program), incorporate events and activities targeted to shared interest groups, and increase event attendance from 200 to 600 guests. This session would be ideal for smaller higher education alumni relations teams, particularly those with one to five full-time staff members, which—-with big ideas but limited financial and personnel resources—-are looking to generate interest and increase participation in their reunion programs.
